About Non Geographic Numbers
About Non Geographic Numbers or Virtual Numbers
A virtual number is a telephone number without a directly associated telephome line. Usually theese numbers are programmed to forward incomming calls to one of the pre-set telephone numbers chosen by the client. Either fixed mobile or voip.
Usually a virtual telephone number can be set to forward calls to different telephone numbers, depending on the time of day and the day of the week. For example between 9-5 on working days incomming calls can be forwarded to the office. At weekends they can be forwarded to a mobile or other fixed landline.
International Virtual Numbers
Talk Numbers provides international virtual phone numbers. Allowing people in another country to call you for the price of a local call. For example, if you live in England London and choose a number in Perth Australia someone in Perth will be able to dial your Perth number and reach you in London for the price of a local call.
A virtual number is a low cost secondary number, reserved for incoming calls. When someone dials this, it rings through to the landline number you have chosen. The person dialing will not have to pay the international call charges. It is as if he is dialling within the same country.
If you need a local presence because your customers will only buy from local suppliers then you don’t need to purchase an office, hire staff ans deal with international employment law. All you need to do is acquire a virtual international telephone number from Talk Numbers which will make you look local.
- You can point your virtual telephone number to any UK landline or international landline.
- You are selling services in a different country and want to make your customers feel as if you are based locally.
- You want to give the impression you have multiple offices across the globe but instead you are working from a small office in the UK
- You can stay in touch for less
